Did you know that even though Texas is the 2cd biggest state in the US, it only has 1 natural lake, also that Alaska has about 3 million lakes? I gotta go, see ya!

Today we did a bunch (3) 0f tests. We did two math tests and one reading test. We also started writing today. The topic is if our school should participate in “National Turn Off the Screen Week.” I am totally for it but my teacher said that a good challenge would to write against it. I’m almost out of time so I will post again soon, see ya! ; – )

I was on a Geography website and I saw a little fact in a box on the side of the screen. Here it is, did you know that there is a bush in the Mojave Desert named the “King Clone” and it is about 11,700 years old! Christmas break is over (sad). But it is time to get back to school, at least you get to see your classmates! For Christmas I got some shoes, clothes, some art stuff and a massage chair. My mom, dad and I built a bed for me and my sister. I also went to my friends house and went sledding at the Redoubt school. Me and my family spent Christmas Eve at my aunts house and later we drove all the way back to our house. It is time to go so… I’ll write again soon, see ya!

December 12th is Poinsettia Day. If you don’t know what a Poinsettia is I’ll tell you, a Poinsettia is a popular Christmas flower. They are red and green and their petals feel like velvet. They can get very big. Poinsettias came from Native Mexico. I think Poinsettias are really pretty. You can buy Poinsettias from store in your town for not a bad price. Well, come on my blog in a few days and read my next blog journal entry!

Today in 1884, roller skate was patented. In my opinion, rollers blades are easier than roller skates. (If you don’t know the difference, a roller blade has six wheels all in one straight line in the middle of the boot, a roller skate has two wheels on each side of the boot.) I usually roller blade with my friend while my sister is at karate.

Apparently, today is national brownie day. I think it is crazy that there is a day just for brownies! In my opinion brownies are delicious. My favorite way to eat brownies is with vanilla or mint ice cream or with whipped cream. Usually my grandma bakes brownies every time I come over or every time she comes to my house. Who was George Washington?

I’ve seen George Washington on a paper money before, my mommy told me that he was America’s very first president. It sounds crazy, letting a 4 year old tell you about presidents, but believe me, I know a lot about George Washington. So just sit back and read.

George Washington fought in the revolutionary war. He and his soldier men suffered through hard times. It was super cold and, sadly, a bunch of his soldiers died. Once him and his soldiers came back to their home town the people were super happy to see their husbands and daddys again. Later the state chose him to be a president. After four years, it was time to choose somebody else for president. America loved George Washington so much that he got chose to be president again. He stayed president for nine years. He soon met a woman named Martha. Soon they got married. Now you know who George Washington is. Now I have to go, my mommy is calling me to come drink my grape juice.

Today is National Cake Day. I like almost every type of cake, but my favorite is Cheesecake. Cheesecake is white with a light brown, crumbly crust. You can have a bunch of toppings, sprinkles, chocolate fudge, strawberries, raspberries, blackberries, blueberries… I could go on and on. What is your favorite cake? Think about it because today is national cake day!
