Who was George Washington?

By Tyra

I’ve seen George Washington on a paper money before, my mommy told me that he was America’s very first president. It sounds crazy, letting a 4 year old tell you about presidents, but believe me, I know a lot about George Washington. So just sit back and read.

George Washington fought in the revolutionary war. He and his soldier men suffered through hard times. It was super cold and, sadly, a bunch of his soldiers died. Once him and his soldiers came back to their home town the people were super happy to see their husbands and daddys again. Later the state chose him to be a president. After four years, it was time to choose somebody else for president. America loved George Washington so much that he got chose to be president again. He stayed president for nine years. He soon met a woman named Martha. Soon they got married. Now you know who George Washington is. Now I have to go, my mommy is calling me to come drink my grape juice.

Today is National Cake Day. I like almost every type of cake, but my favorite is Cheesecake. Cheesecake is white with a light brown, crumbly crust. You can have a bunch of toppings, sprinkles, chocolate fudge, strawberries, raspberries, blackberries, blueberries… I could go on and on. What is your favorite cake? Think about it because today is national cake day!

McCoughey Septuplets

Today, Nov.19, is the day that McCoughey’s septuplets were born. All seven survived! If I was a septuplet I would have alot of fun but at the sasme time i’m glad that I dont have seven siblings. I think I would have a disadvantage having seven brothers and sisters because may have had to share my room with one or more of them. An advantage would be that I would have alot of people to talk to.

Mickey Mouse’s B-day!

Today is Nov. 18, which is Mickey Mouse’s Birthday. If I could make a friend for Mickey mouse it would be a little owl with big eyes and a round fluffy ball for its body. It would have a cute little crown on its head and would carry around a half eaten lolliepop. It would be called a LollE-Pop Bird. I hope you visit my blog again soon to read my journal blog entry. Bye!

Peanut Butter!!!

Today is National Peanut Butter Day! Yippee! The 2 reasons i think that banning peanut butter from school(s) is 1. What if a kids favorite food is a peanut butter jelly sandwich? And 2. If a parent/grandparent brings in peanut butter cookies the students wouldnt be able to enjoy the delicious snack. It would be HORRIBLE! Well, please visit my blog again soon! BYE!
